He first played a funky version of Black and Gold live, followed by the current UK number one, American Boy, by Estelle featuring Kanye West.

Along with the two live tracks there’s a great interview with Sam, in which Jo Whiley and Sam discuss everything from Sam’s dad, Chaka Khan, living in USA, Australia and the meaning behind the lyrics of Black and Gold.
